'The Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date, Latest News & Update: Analyst Makes Bold Prediction, Confident of Sixth Installment in 2017
Bethesda has a busy 2017 ahead and one big title that could come out may be “The Elder Scrolls VI”. The sudden dish may be ridiculed by many though notorious gaming analyst Michael Pachter believes such is happening.
Officially, Bethesda has its hands full with “Fallout 4 VR”. But for some reason, Pachter believes that at least two game titles will be surprising most in the “Year of the Rooster”. Aside from “The Elder Scrolls VI”, “Fallout 5” is another one he believes the gaming company may release. Looking at the trail of “The Elder Scrolls” series, Bethesda is busy working on “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition”.
The remastered edition offers improved graphical detail with plenty of bugs that are currently being addressed. That said, it makes little sense to see “The Elder Scrolls VI” to debut in 2017. 2018 is a more plausible timeline since it does give game developers ample time to come up with better storylines of the famed game.
With reference to “Fallout 4 VR” and “Skyrim Special Edition”, virtual reality integration is expected to be up for consideration for “The Elder Scrolls VI”. But as far as Pachter is concerned, Bethesda could pull a fast one, Gaming Industry reported. He even touched on a possible “Half-Life” installment, another wild prediction bound to draw a howl from the gaming community.
As far as game development progress for “The Elder Scrolls VI” is concerned, Bethesda is in the minor stages. That alone douses water on claims of a surprise debut in 2017 despite singling out the title release of “Fallout 4”, Attack of the Fan Boy reported. Todd Howard did mention at E3 Live that Bethesda does have a couple of game titles in the works. Knowing however that “The Elder Scrolls VI” is one of the highly anticipated games to look out for, seeing it debut in 2017 may not be a wise call.
