‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Updates: Niantic Dangles Gift Boxes For Players To Pay-For-Play

Niantic has already done a lot as far as making “Pokemon Go” special this holiday season. Free goodies and increased spawn rates lead the charge but there are new stuff which recently popped up in the form of gift boxes. The gift boxes can be found at the shop option of “Pokemon Go”.

As one would guess, these are options for players who are willing to shell out some cash in exchange for some handy items. The are three gift boxes available, namely the “Special Box”, “Great Box” and the “Ultra Box”. Most would first want to know what these special boxes have to offer “Pokemon Go” players. The first of the lot is the “Special Box” which costs 250 PokeCoins.

In exchange, players get 10 Great Balls and 2 Egg Incubators. This is followed by the “Great Box” which “Pokemon Go” gamers can get for 550 PokeCoins. It offers a package of 20 Great Balls, 2 Incense, and 4 Egg Incubators. The largest and expensive of them all is the “Ultra Box” that can be exchanged for 1,500 PokeCoins. For that sum, folks get 20 Ultra Balls, 6 Egg Incubators and 25 Incense, BGR reported.

The easy route for “Pokemon Go” players is to scroll down below that menu where the PokeCoin loot are grouped accordingly. For those eyeing the “Ultra Box” pack, getting the 1,200 PokeCoin plus three 100 PokeCoin option seems like the sensible mix. The denomination depends entirely on the player. It should be noted as well that this is a limited time offer from Niantic.

The special gift boxes are available only until Dec. 30 after which a new wave of goodies will be offered to “Pokemon Go” players. For those who prefer to play “Pokemon Go” the traditional (and free) way, you can always embark on the daily bonuses and get hold of the freebies returned. That includes the usual balls, eggs, and even incubators, Forbes reported.
