People with obesity tend to have higher blood pressure. It can lead to many diseases and one of the greatest affected organs is the heart.

It leads to insulin resistance. It is when the person's body becomes partially resistant to the glucose lowering of insulin. The insulin will move from the body sugar and in the form of glucose from your blood into your body's cells.

In addition, insulin resistance will cause higher blood sugar, which leads to disease such as diabetes. Most of the commonly known risk factors for heart disease are high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes.

According to scientists that there are excess fat tissues around the waist and it may directly affect the heart structure and function. These are the fat tissues which come from the foods that people eat every day.

These are the fatty foods and other goods that consist of chemicals may result in high cholesterol. There are two main types of cholesterol. These are high-density lipoproteins (HDL) or also known as good cholesterol and the low-density lipoproteins (LDL) which are the bad cholesterol.

The high-density lipoproteins will carry cholesterol from other parts of your body back to your liver. It will excrete the bad cholesterol out of the body. The low-density lipoproteins (LDL) can cause heart ailments.

The cholesterol levels are being deposits in the arteries that may prevent the blood flow to the heart. This is a condition called atherosclerosis which vessels transport less oxygen-rich blood to the heart. If the heart muscle cannot have enough air, then heart attack may follow. It may also damage veins in the brain which may result in brain stroke.
