Now that "Sherlock" Season 4 is back on the air, a lot of speculations are now starting to swirl. One of the much-awaited events in the new chapter of the crime drama is the appearance of Sherlock Holmes' (Benedict Cumberbatch) brother that could bear the name Sherrinford.

"Sherlock" Season 4's executive producer Mark Gatiss teased that the show has clues hiding about Holmes' brother, but he remains to keep mum about it. The 50-year-old actor also talked about the return of the protagonist's mortal enemy, Moriarty (Andrew Scott). He confirmed that the consulting criminal is already dead and the much-loved lead star perfectly knows what to do next.

Moreover, Vanity Fair reported that "Sherlock" Season 4 is in store with its usual surprises. The coming of the new villain named Culverton Smith that will be played by Toby Jones is described by Gatiss as the "purest evil." He even went on to explain that the show's villains are all different and fans have to wait and see what kind of evilness they are about to spread.

Meanwhile, according to Romper, "Sherlock" Season 4 would only have three 120-minute episodes just like its previous seasons. In fact, the television series' official website already revealed its episodes titles, "The Six Thatchers," "The Lying Detective," and "The Final Problem." The first episode is written by none other than Gatiss, while the second one is by the show's co-creator Stephen Moffat.

"Sherlock" Season 4 Episode 3, "The Final Problem," is quite mind-boggling as it carries the word "final." The publication cited that there is no official announcement if this will be the show's final stretch, but if there will be a new installment coming; fans would definitely have to wait for another couple of years. As Mary (Amanda Abbington) and Watson (Martin Freeman) now have their baby, viewers should watch how this will affect Holmes and his pal's journey.
