'Pokemon Go' Tips, Latest News & Update: Pocket Monster Trackers Still up to Help AR Hunters

Niantic has unloaded a ton of pockets monsters on “Pokemon Go” and catching all of them may be easier said than done. Of course, some would be picky as they make wiser decisions on who to snag. An improved in-game tracker has been helpful but some may need a third-party aid for longer reach.

Before proceeding, “Pokemon Go” players are reminded of the terms of services by Niantic. Though there have been no significant updates on bans and suspensions, the fact is that the game developer doesn’t think highly of third-party Pokemon trackers. Then again, Niantic may eventually find a way to block out these trackers from accessing game servers.

To date, such has not happened so some daring “Pokemon Go” gamers can still get some help with these third party apps. PokeVision was one of the top trackers for “Pokemon Go” to get in 2016 though everyone knows how that app fell. Also to date, there are several apps to consider such as FastPokeMap, PokeMap, and PokeFind.

FastPokeMap is seen as the top app for “Pokemon Go” players though there is a need to register over at their website. Players will have to allow it to access their location which would, in turn, be used by the built-in location scanner at the site and count the steps needed to capture that elusive critter. PokeMap technically follows the same methodology, a substitute just in case FastPokeMap gets canned or malfunctions.

The last of the mix is PokeFind, an actual map downloadable from Google Play that offers the same features of FastPokeMap only that it comes with a filtering feature for accurate “Pokemon Go” hunting, Neurogadget reported. These trackers could be helpful but getting on the bad side of Niantic still persists. With an improved in-game tracker, “Pokemon Go” players may want to stick to that unless they want wider coverage and more accurate catches, GameRant reported.
