It's no secret that "Game of Thrones" has no qualms with killing off several characters per season, even the ones who seem to be quite important to the main storyline. Now actor Iain Glen is speaking up about the possible death of Daenerys Targaryen's most loyal ally Jorah Mormont. Is it possible that Jorah the Andal will end up dead in "Game of Thrones" Season 7?

Jorah Mormont has spent much of the previous season looking for Daenerys Targaryen, who has finally accepted him again and even ordered him to find a cure for grayscale. However, Iain Glen doesn't appear to be very optimistic that Jorah will survive past "Game of Thrones" Season 7 to be a major part of the final season.

In an interview with Radio Times, Iain Glen admitted that he is unsure whether Jorah Mormont will "make the last [season]." The "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" star stated that he thinks that less than 10 main characters will go beyond "Game of Thrones" Season 7 and he is open to the idea that Jorah will not be one of them.

Iain Glen also shared that he has gotten "attached" to the HBO series and truly enjoyed working with the cast and crew. The former "Downton Abbey" actor even praised showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss, calling them "very good people." So does this confirm that Jorah Mormont will meet his end in "Game of Thrones" Season 7?

Although Iain Glen might not be too optimistic about Jorah Mormont's future in the series, there are speculations that the character is set to play an important role in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Some fans believe that Jorah will find the cure and help Daenerys Targaryen defeat her enemies. People will need to tune in when the hit series returns on HBO this summer.
