This year, "Legend of Zelda" fans will be treated to the latest installment of the series to be released on the Nintendo Wii U and Switch. The highly anticipated action-adventure video game has no release date attached to it yet, but Nintendo continues to tease the game by showing off new artwork.

The news comes via GameSpot, which reports that new "Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild" artwork featuring villain has been showcased by Nintendo on Facebook. Two images have been released by Nintendo, the first being artwork depicting Link staring off into a gorgeous sunset.

As Nintendo previews new artwork featuring villain, fans get a closer look at the enemies called "Guardians" in "Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild." These Guardians apparently "come in a variety of sizes and shapes," as per Nintendo's Facebook post. GameRant also reports that these villains have the capability to "shoot powerful colored beams," which Link must avoid at all costs.

Meanwhile, Forbes reports that "Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild" may be coming out this March, despite having no release date attached to it yet. A Reddit user has shared his sighting of a "Breath of Wild" pre-order advertisement alongside the Nintendo Switch, which is slated for a March release as well. If this is any indication, the game might arrive in a couple of months.

According to the same report, "Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild" may be out before April thanks to Gamstop promotional materials that indicate so. Some UK retailers have also indicated an early 2017 release. As for the official release date, fans will have to bookmark this page for more. In the meantime, check out the video below.
