PlayStation Plus January Lineup: 6 Free Titles Revealed; Cross-Buy Making PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita Games Playable On PlayStation 4
Sony finally revealed the much-awaited free game titles included in PlayStation Plus January lineup. Just in time for the holidays, the tech giant revealed the good news that will treat its players for another series of good titles at no cost.
For PlayStation 4 players, they could enjoy "Day of the Tentacle Remastered" that also supports the cross-buy with PlayStation Vita along with "Titan Souls." Next is "This War of Mine: The Little Ones" for PlayStation 4 alone and "Azkend 2" for PlayStation Vita that is part of the PlayStation Plus January lineup. PlayStation 3 users have a free "Blazerush" while "The Swindle" can be played on the three generation platforms.
According to VG247, the said titles will come available once the PlayStation store updates in is respective regions for the new PlayStation Plus January lineup. With that, players can still enjoy the games included in the December roster that they could still download until next week. The titles included here are "Invisible, Inc," "Stories: Path of Destinies," "Hyper Void," "Tiny Troopers Joint Ops," "Color Guardians" and "VVVVVV."
Just a little background of the games, "This War of Mine: The Little Ones" will bring a lot of conflicts that need to be solved by the PlayStation Plus January lineup subscribers. It is incredibly dark and emotional, but will definitely challenge the wit of its players with its tactical and exciting gameplay. "Day of the Tentacle Remastered," on the other hand, is going to introduce the mad scientist Dr. Fred Edison that has a mutant monster that escaped his lab in a plan to dominate the world. Players have to do their best to find and make him stop.
Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus January lineup makes fans a little upset for not having AAA game titles. However, they are treated with top indie games to play on, Daily Express noted. They, too, can enjoy some of the titles in different PlayStation platforms because of Sony's cross-buy, making games for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita playable on PlayStation 4.
