"Star Wars" fans are expecting big things in the upcoming "Han Solo" standalone movie, which will focus on the origin story of the Millennium Falcon captain. But is it possible that the "Solo" film will also feature a young Princess Leia Organa? And could the future rebel end up being played by "Stranger Things" Season 2 actress Millie Bobby Brown?

Millie Bobby Brown's resemblance to a young Carrie Fisher isn't hard to see. Some fans have gushed about the idea that the "Stranger Things" Season 2 actress could play a younger version of Princess Leia in a future "Star Wars" film. So could it be the "Han Solo" standalone movie? And what does Brown think of this awesome idea. It looks like Millie Bobby Brown actually loves the idea of being a part of a "Star Wars" film.

The star of "Stranger Things" Season 2 has admitted at the Rhode Island Comic Con that she wants to portray Princess Leia. Brown even addressed that there is another project being made, leading to speculations that she is referring to the "Han Solo" standalone movie. Disney and Lucasfilm have not yet commented on the possibility that Millie Bobby Brown will play Princess Leia in the "Han Solo" standalone movie.

Nevertheless, there are several other reports surrounding the upcoming "Star Wars" film, including the project's unconfirmed release date. It has long been believed that the "Han Solo" standalone movie will be released in May 2018, but things have recently changed for the "Star Wars" film. The project is now only set to premiere in 2018, which could mean that the second Anthology movie will be pushed back to a December release date.

There is still no word from Lucasfilm or Disney about a final date. It is still unclear whether Millie Bobby Brown will join the cast of the "Han Solo" standalone movie as Princess Leia. The "Star Wars" film will star Alden Ehrenreich as the young smuggler as well as Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian. It has recently been reported that Woody Harrelson is in talks for an important role as Han's trainer in the early part of the movie.
