It looks like the midseason premiere of "Star Wars Rebels" Season 3 is set for some very exciting developments. The trailer for "Star Wars Rebels" Season 3 Episode 12 and 13 has just been unveiled and it confirms that two former foes are set for a rematch. Will Obi-Wan Kenobi defeat Darth Maul once again in "Ghosts of Geonosis"?

The "Star Wars Rebels" Season 3 mid-season premiere trailer is filled with awesome new details, but most fans immediately zeroed in on a brief scene showing Obi-Wan Kenobi facing Darth Maul. After all, the upcoming rematch in "Star Wars Rebels" Season 3 Episode 12 and 13 is expected to be a continuation of their jaw-dropping duel in the prequel film "Episode I: The Phantom Menace".

There is little doubt that the three-way fight between Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul was the most exciting thing about "The Phantom Menace". The scene showed off Maul's amazing combat skills as well as his cool double-ended lightsaber. Although the duel resulted in Qui-Gon's death, the young Obi-Wan was also able to defeat Maul by slicing him in half, something that the Sith was not able to forget for a long time. But will the Jedi achieve another similar victory in "Star Wars Rebels" Season 3 Episode 12 and 13?

Obi-Wan Kenobi's new victory against Darth Maul is still up for debate. Some fans believe that Obi-Wan was only able to defeat Maul in "Phantom Menace" because he was young. It is still possible that the older Jedi might not handle another fight against the stronger Maul. However, others believe that the older Obi-Wan is more experienced and could easily use the Force to his advantage in "Star Wars Rebels" Season 3 Episode 12 and 13.
