Charlie Hunnam 2017: 'King Arthur' Star Set For 'Sons Of Anarchy' Prequel As Possible Episode Director & Series Producer
People are still hoping that Charlie Hunnam will be a major part of the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel that Kurt Sutter has every intention to work on soon. Although it would be impossible for Jax Teller to make an appearance in "The First 9", there is still a chance that the star of "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" will be involved with the series.
There have long been speculations that Charlie Hunnam will reprise his role as Jax Teller in the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel despite the fact that the series actually takes place before the character was even born. But is it possible that the "King Arthur" star will still be a part of "The First 9" as a possible producer or even a director of one of the episodes?
Kurt Sutter has recently confirmed that he still has plans to work on the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel, which will follow the life of Jax Teller's father John Teller. Sutter also revealed that "The First 9" will be a one-off series where a new member will be introduced in each of its 10 episodes. However, he also pointed out that the show's timeline will take place before the birth of Charlie Hunnam's character.
This certainly confirms that Jax Teller will not be in any of the episodes in the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel. However, there are speculations that Kurt Sutter might still find a way for Charlie Hunnam to be involved in "The First 9". The "SOA" creator could bring in the "King Arthur" star to produce the series or even direct one of the show's episodes.
Charlie Hunnam might not have any experience with producing or directing just yet but the star of "King Arthur" has developed several screenplays. In addition to that, it is believed that Hunnam is also planning to direct a film about gypsies in Britain. It is still unconfirmed whether the actor will be involved with the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel, yet fans are keeping their fingers crossed on the possibility.
