Xbox Backwards Compatibility News & Update: Phil Spencer Teaser Great January; Bill Stillwell Reveals BC To Continue Next Week
As the new month now comes, for the Xbox users, it means that new roster of games is coming to Xbox Backward Compatibility. In 2016, there was a lot of Xbox 360 AAA games revealed that were playable to Xbox One, like "Red Dead Redemption," Bioshock Trilogy," "Mass Effect Trilogy," "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" and much more.
However, the game enthusiasts still have to wait one week more for the revelation of the official Xbox Backward Compatibility games, according to Daily Star. Starting next week, fans will be treated more promising games as the Xbox head Phil Spencer teased their fans via Twitter saying that the month of "January looks pretty good for backwards compatibility." This was his respond when a fan asked him what they could expect from their program.
His tweet was followed by another general statement about the much-awaited list of Xbox Backward Compatibility and its help to the Xbox One users. "Back combat was good as it brought a bunch of nostalgia back without all the games needing to be redone or rebought," Spencer said. He, too, boasted about their program saying that it is bringing great titles to people that don't have Xbox 360.
Moreover, Xbox Platform PM lead Bill Stillwell also followed Spence's series of tweets confirming that Xbox Backward Compatibility will resume next week. He, too, shut down the assumptions which games are included on the list, revealing none of it is real. Attack of the Fanboy noted that the new titles included might be revealed on Tuesday or Thursday in the coming week.
Other games that were included on Xbox Backward Compatibility in 2016 were "Blue Dragon" and "Call of Duty: Black Ops." The game enthusiasts are still requesting for the coming of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" and other AAA titles. This 2017, Xbox is promising a great number of games that are set to be revealed on their program for Xbox One.
