Fans are in for a big surprise as "Fallout 4" has a new mod that will bring them back in the '90s.The new gameplay will definitely change how the post-apocalyptic role-playing game runs that will take the players a trip down memory lane.

The retro mini-game in "Fallout 4" is called "Revolted" and looks like a '90s style shooter game. It is complete with gangly characters, substandard sound effects and 2D "splatter sprites" to give that kind of classic gaming. When the gamer is in this mod, it removes the titles' RPG systems, giving a touch of jump puzzles, a fragment soundtrack, but still making the game familiar in spite of the new changes, according to Kotaku.

To get the "Revolted" mod in "Fallout 4," one has to go to Nexus Mods, download and install. Once it is already set up, find the computer terminal on the second floor of the Concord Speakeasy and launch it. In the game, the gamer will play as the administrator of a vault which they have to protect from the monsters that destroyed its door. These creatures are lurking from the outside and endlessly pouring, thus the player has to fight each one of them to close the entrance.

Meanwhile, VG247 reported that "Revolted" in "Fallout 4" is retracted to the "Dooms" and "Wolfensteins" of the era. It has used remarkable fake 2D sprites and '90s-like game mechanics like looking for keys to open doors, health pickups with the use of Nuka-Cola bottles and a lot more.

"'Revolted' (the future of gaming) has many features which include three-dimensional graphics, mono sound, poly processing and next level artificial intelligence," its description read. It is even described by "Fallout 4" mod creator Cohagen to make its players play as the "Overseer of Vault 102 to take back the control of the Vault from the evil Professor."
