Charlie Hunnam 2017: 'Sons Of Anarchy' Star Still Green Arrow Fan-Favorite For Future DCEU Films [PHOTO]
The highly anticipated DC Extended Universe flick "Justice League" might already be nearing completion, but there have been no updates on whether Green Arrow will make an appearance in the film. Nevertheless, that hasn't stopped fans from hoping former "Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam will play Oliver Queen in the future.
Charlie Hunnam was the undisputed fan favorite to portray Green Arrow when "Justice League" was announced two years ago. Although DC and Warner Bros. never commented on casting the "Sons of Anarchy" actor as Oliver Queen for the film, people continue to push for Hunnam to be added in future DCEU flicks.
People simply loved the idea that Charlie Hunnam could possibly be DCEU's Green Arrow. There was even a petition begging Warner Bros. to cast the "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" star as Oliver Queen in "Justice League". The hype was heightened even more when fan art featuring Hunnam as the DC superhero surfaced on Twitter.

Although there seems to be no chance for Charlie Hunnam to join the cast of "Justice League" as Oliver Queen, fans haven't given up hope on the idea. A recent Reddit discussion has once again pointed out that the "Lost City of Z" actor would be perfect for the role of DCEU's Green Arrow because of his physical attributes. In addition to that, Hunnam has already worked with Warner Bros. on "Pacific Rim" and "King Arthur" and he already has a goatee.
It is still unclear whether Warner Bros. is considering Charlie Hunnam as Green Arrow for future DCEU films. In the meantime, fans continue to hope their prayers will be answered and the "Papillion" star will eventually be cast as Oliver Queen. The possibly Green Arrow-less "Justice League" will premiere on November 17.
