There's only a week left before "Supergirl" season 2 returns to The CW. With it comes news that Dominators and Livewire come after Kara, as shown in the midseason premiere preview. It seems like the second half of this season will bring even more chaos to National City, and it's up to Kara to fix the mess that the Dominators will make.

According to The Wrap, the new midseason premiere preview from The CW finds Supergirl dealing with the aftermath of CADMUS' defeat. However, there is a new interstellar threat that will be featured in "Supergirl" season 2 in the form of the Dominators, who were first introduced in "The Flash," "Arrow," and "Legends of Tomorrow" crossover episode. What's more is that Kara will have to deal with Roulette, who has a hand in the alien trafficking ring.

Meanwhile, in other "Supergirl" season 2 news, The CW has released the official synopsis for "We Can Be Heroes," which airs on January 30. In the upcoming episode, Livewire will return to Central City to hunt for Kara. Seemingly excaping jail, Livewire is out to get Supergirl, who is determined to put Livewire back behind bars. Mon-El takes on the challenge with Supergirl, but gets caught in a bind when he puts Kara first before the citizens of National City.

In addition, Comicbook reports that "Supergirl" season 2 will also find James (Mehcad Brooks) telling Kara the truth, while M'Gann (Sharon Leal) suddenly experiences a psychic attack and falls into a coma. What will happen next in "Supergirl" season 2? Tune into The CW on Monday, January 23 to find out.
