'Dishonored 2' News & Update: Update 2 Beta Arrives January 18 To PC, Features New Custom Difficulty
Arguably one of the best games to arrive in 2016, "Dishonored 2" continues to amaze gamers and fans. Bethesda is soon rolling out Update 2 on January 18 to PC first, and it features new custom difficulty that sounds really interesting. On top of a mission-select option, the new update will bring new custom difficulty settings that gives gamers more power to challenge themselves in the game.
Before the weekend, GameSpot reported that Update 2 arrives on January 18 to PC first via Steam. This is a beta version that gamers can enjoy before the final Update 2 launches not too long from now, on January 23. On that date, "Dishonored 2" gamers on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC will be able to enjoy the perks of the new custom difficulty.
But how exactly do these new custom difficulty settings work in "Dishonored 2?" Bethesda explained that there will be 20 different sliders in the custom difficulty settings that enable gamers to "fiddle with everything" including how quickly Sleep Darts take effect or how many enemies are out to get you all at once. The interesting thing about these new custom difficulty settings is that gamers will have to suffer the consequences of their very own actions.
According to Cinemablend, it would be interesting to see how the custom difficulty settings in "Dishonored 2" would play out, since games have allotted resources in terms of the AI that goes into every attack. Gamers will have to wait and see up to what degree the custom difficulty settings will let gamers adjust the game, when it arrives on January 18.
Gamers who are looking forward to Update 2 which beta arrives on January 18 should also know that it includes "new and improved features" that were based on feedback from fans and gamers.
