It will still be a long wait for the second season of "Outcast" although the Cinemax series has already been renewed even before the pilot aired last year. However, it looks like a new image from "Outcast" Season 2 has been revealed and it certainly teases an unusual route for Kyle Barnes and his daughter Amber.

The first season of "Outcast" concluded with Kyle Barnes realizing that his daughter possesses the same powers that allows him to exorcise the people of Rome. This resulted in Kyle deciding to run away with Amber but the last moments of the season finale found them surrounded by possibly possessed people in a gas station. Does a new image from "Outcast" Season 2 offer a clue on how Kyle and Amber managed to escape?

A new photo was posted by the "Outcast" Asia Facebook page, showing a foggy forest. The caption is "Out of the woods", but fans immediately speculated that the "Outcast" Season 2 image hints on the possibility that Kyle Barnes and Amber will end up in the forest to run away. Can Sidney and his people track them down and ultimately use Kyle for his own salvation?

There is little doubt that Kyle Barnes and Amber are in grave danger now that Sidney has revealed himself, admitting that he and Kyle came from the same place. Unfortunately, Kyle never found out more details from the villain. Hopefully, more information on Kyle's true origins will be revealed in "Outcast" Season 2.

Cinemax has not yet announced the "Outcast" Season 2 air date, but the series is still expected to premiere in late 2017. In the meantime, fans can whet their appetite with the new volume of Robert Kirkman's comic book series on which the show is based on. "Outcast" Volume 4 collects comic book issues 19 to 24 and will be available on digital and print on February 22.
