The "Pokemon GO" enthusiasts are now all looking forward to the coming events and updates the Niantic's game has in store this 2017. It looks like fans are will be in for a number of treats as the mobile game company has a lot to offer in the coming months. There will be a Valentine's Day event coming in "Pokemon GO" in February, but everyone is much looking forward to the April Fool's event.

According to SlashGear, there will be an enormous number of Magikarp coming on this occasion. This creature is known for being its ineffectual flopping fish that evolves into a beautiful Gyarados. The publication also noted that there's a reason for the coming "Pokemon GO" events. On April Fool's Day, players should look for the Pokemon Medals to unveil Niantic's plans.

To recall, in December 2016, the Pikachu Medal became easier to have as Santa Hat Pikachu can be seen easily in "Pokemon GO." To have Pikachu Medal, any kind of Pikachu will do; to obtain Youngster Medal, the small Ratata that can be marked as XS would only qualify, but for the Fisherman, Magikarp needed must be XL. It has been known that it is not easy to catch this kind of creature, thus the player would definitely have a hard time.

Meanwhile, other "Pokemon GO" events coming that fans should definitely wait for are the Region Unlocking, Forbes reported. Nintendo recently announced that the upcoming Nintendo Switch will be region locked, thus it might do the same with the augmented reality game. This might be the right time to release Mime, Farfetch'd, Tauros and Kangaskhan all over the world. Another event coming is Shinies, a simple event that could just put a new color to the Pokemon's reskin that might make them look animated.

Next event coming in "Pokemon GO" is The Legendary Birds, this might be the biggest event coming in the game and this might have a connection with the game's three teams knowing what each group's logo stands for. There is also Mew/Mewtwo, the two creatures might be included in the game if they could go as powerful as they should be and be left to stay in gyms. Lastly, Gen 2 could unveil a number of new Pokemon that could turn back the players' interest to stay in the game.
