A man from Virginia just decided to give his kidney as a 20th wedding anniversary gift for his wife. It may not be a typically ideal gift a man would give to his wife, but there is a reason why Scott Chafian has decided to do it for Cindy Chafian. Cindy is diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease and receiving a new kidney is like being given a second chance in life.

Cindy Chafian has been suffering from the disease for almost two years now and she has gone through many surgeries. This has made her weaker which isn’t only hard for her but to her husband as well. Scott was feeling helpless because there isn’t anything else he can do to make her better. He was ready to offer his kindey for his wife six years ago but Cindy just wouldn’t take it.

However, everything changed when her health got worse last year. She said "I hit kind of rock bottom, and I looked at him and I said okay, I'm ready,” She then got a call from her husband and said everything was already good and the surgery will take place on the exact date of their anniversary on January 24.

Now a Go Fund Me page has been created to help the couple go through the process of surgery and recovery. Since both of them will undergo the surgery, both of them will need to take their time to rest and adjust to the new changes in their body. This also means the couple will not be able to do any work to pay for their daily expenses.

As of today, over $2000 of the target $5000 has already been raised and anyone who is interested in donating can still do so for the next 17 days.

Now Cindy Chafian is probably the happiest wife on earth to receive such an amazing gift, the gift of life.
