"Overwatch" players may have noticed a small change to the game's Spectator Mode. The newest PTR update for "Overwatch" has added health bars to the game's Spectator Mode. This new function makes it so much easier for gamers to keep an eye out on the health of players in the game. Here's why the addition of health bars in Spectator Mode is a cool thing.

According to VG247, it has been difficult for gamers who are watching "Overwatch" livestreams to figure out just how much health is still in the players, if they aren't the ones playing. Now that the new Spectator Mode features health bars, gamers who are merely spectators can easily gauge what's going on during the game.

The report indicates that the new health bards can be turned on and off with just a click of a button. Per PC Gamer, the health bars in the new Spectator Mode in "Overwatch" is currently in the PTR and may become live very soon. Currently, Blizzard balances the game by equipping characters with abilities that they never had before, or removing abilities that no longer work in the game. The report said, however, several "Overwatch" characters need to be buffed in order to make the game more balanced. For starters, the newly arrived Sombra, who is an offensive character.

What she needs is to be buffed in order to create more damage to enemies. It might take time before Blizzard heeds the call of fans to buff Sombra, though. In the meantime, they can enjoy the new "Overwatch" Spectator Mode that features health bars. Check it out in action below.
