'Steep' News & Update: 'Extreme Pack' DLC Features Additional Sports, Game May Be Playable Offline In The Future
Here's some exciting news for you "Steep" fans. There's a whole lot of new content coming up in what the studio calls the "Extreme Pack" DLC. Along with it comes new sports in the form of Rocket Wings, Base Jumping, and Speed Gliding. Creative Director Igon Manceau himself shared some details about the new sports coming to Ubisoft's "Steep."
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, Manceau explained that the upcoming "Extreme Pack" DLC for "Steep" will feature some awesome new sports. Rocket Wing will enable players to reach greater heights and see mountains from a different perspective.
What's even better is that players won't necessarily fall from the initial jump. Manceau also told Game Informer that most "Steep" players go for snowboarding. Skiing comes in as the second most popular sport for "Steep" players, while wingsuits come in third. Very few gamers do paragliding just because of the different pace it offers to gamers.
Of course, when players purchase the "Extreme Pack" DLC, there will be additional sports to be added to the roster. In addition, gamers who want to play "Steep" offline might be able to do so in the future. In the meantime, fans can check out Update 1.03, which patch notes are here.
