Pittsburgh Steelers Vs. New England Patriots: Deathstroke Defeats Superman At NFL Playoffs, Aiming For Batman Next
It's not everyday that Deathstroke can boast about beating the crap out of Superman, but Joe Manganiello just managed to do that. The new Slade Wilson just announced that he has defeated Henry Cavill and is aiming to destroy Ben Affleck's Batman next Sunday at the NFL Playoffs. Why? Because that's when the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the New England Patriots.
Joe Manganiello has recently been cast as Deathstroke in the highly anticipated untitled Batman film, where he will undoubtedly take on Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader. But before that, the man who will play Slade Wilson has pretty much declared war on Batman after the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs (Henry Cavill's team) last Sunday. But can the Steelers beat the New England Patriots at next Sunday's game?
Henry Cavill supports the Kansas City Chiefs (because Superman is from Kansas) and even attended last Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Following the Chiefs' defeat, Joe Manganiello tweeted a cheeky post after the Steelers advanced to the AFC Championship. His next target? Batman, who supports the New England Patriots. Manganiello even added the hashtag #DEATHSTROKE.

The new Deathstroke was not all bark when it came to the Pittsburgh Steelers defeating the Kansas City Chiefs. Joe Manganiello also complimented the city's residents (as well as their BBQ) and thanked them for their hospitality. However, beating Superman is just the beginning for Deathstroke, who is preparing to take on Batman and the New England Patriots at the NFL Playoffs on Sunday.
In all seriousness, Kansas City has the best BBQ and nicest people I've ever met. Thank you for the hospitality.#TimeToSlayTheDragon pic.twitter.com/ocxYHhWpBc — Joe Manganiello (@JoeManganiello) January 16, 2017
Batman (or Ben Affleck) has yet to comment on Joe Manganiello's Deathstroke NFL Playoffs challenge. Likewise, Henry Cavill has no comment on the Kansas City Chiefs defeat, or perhaps Superman is still busy licking his wounds. The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the New England Patriots on January 22.
