"Gotham" season 3 is playing hard to get. The FOX series returned last night to showcase how Jerome (Cameron Monaghan) made his way back from the dead. What viewers got a glimpse of was a new Joker, who now has a following and is indulgnig in the fact that he now has minions. However, as Cameron Monaghan's Joker is enjoying the fame, it looks like BatCat is no more following last night's events.
According to Comicbook, last night's "Gotham" season 3 revealed how Selina's mother, Maria is a cunning con artist who wedged her way between her daughter and Bruce. The conflict seems to cause a change in Selina, whose trust issues were again brought to the limelight.
Camren Bicondova, who plays Selina on the show, shared her excitement about Selina's "dark phase" now that she has seen what her mother can do. Meanwhile, Jerome seems to be going through some changes of his own. Cameron Monaghan's Joker is enjoying the fame now that he's back from the dead and has created somewhat of an army.
In a conversation with IGN, Monaghan said that Jerome now sees an opportunity in having a group of followers at his very disposal. Slowly but surely, he's already making his first steps to introducing anarchy to the "Mad City" in "Gotham" season 3. Monaghan also shared that he gets to interact more with David Mazouz's Bruce compared to the previous season.
In the meantime, SpoilerTV has released the official synopsis of next week's episode of "Gotham" season 3 tiled "The Gentle Art of Makin Enemies." The episode will serve as the late winter finale of the show, and will find Jerome obsessively a target that will definitely put Bruce and Alfred in danger.
