In an interview with IndieWire, Evan Rachel Wood excitedly confirmed her return for "Westworld" season 2. She said that no one's going to be more thrilled to return than her. The young beautiful actress also teased fans that the next season will pick up right after the ending scene from the first season. There are speculations saying that Dolores may have just completely killed Ford (Anthony Hopkins). However, some fans believe that Ford is not really dead and will still return in season 2.
Though Evan Rachel Wood said that she has little information about "Westworld" season 2, she believes that the upcoming season will see the beginning of the real story. She explained that the first season is more of an introduction to the characters and back story. So that means, the real thing may just start next season.

More so, Ed Harris also confirmed that his incarnation of the Man in Black will be involved as well, this despite being shot in the season's finale. This could mean that at least one will survive the android attack. Another character returning to the series is Jeffrey Wright's Bernard, as he revealed to Rotten Tomatoes. Shannon Woodward, who plays fan-favorite Elise, is more likely to return in "Westworld" season 2. Again, this despite her apparent death in the first instalment.
"Westworld" season 2 director Jonathan Nolan advised fans not to assume anything in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. What else do you think will happen in "Westworld" season 2?
