This March, BioWare fans will finally get their hands on the highly anticipated action RPG, "Mass Effect Andromeda." Already touted as one of the best games of the year, "Mass Effect Andromeda" will arrive in a little less than eight weeks. This latest news may come as a surprise, as BioWare's not planning cross-platform play and will feature P2P multiplayer instead.

According to PC Gamer, "Mass Effect Andromeda" producer Fernando Melo took to Twitter to share that cross-platform play or crossplay will not be available for the upcoming game. As per PlayStation Lifestyle, there will be an absence in dedicated servers for the upcoming game. Think "Mass Effect 3."

Now that fans know BioWare not planning cross-platform play for "Mass Effect Andromeda," is this a sign that gamers would be turned off with the game? It doesn't seem like it. A new trailer was recently released for "Mass Effect Andromeda" and it is slowly gaining more views as time passes by. In the new cinematic trailer, fans can get to know Kett Archon and get a glimpse of Habitat 7, one of the many planets that are in the running to be the human race's new home. According to Gamespot, viewers will also get to see the Hyperion, the temporary home of the humans. Check out the video below to find out more.

"Mass Effect Andromeda" has a release date of March 21 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The awesome Mac Walters served as director, while Fabrice Condominas and Mike Gamble served as producers. The "Mass Effect Andromeda" storyline takes place about 600 years after the "Mass Effect" trilogy. and will feature the children of N7 special forces soldier Alec Ryder as the main characters of the game.
