'The Flash' Season 3 Predictions & Spoilers: Robbie Amell Returns As Dead Ronnie Raymond In Possible Barry Allen Dream Sequence

By Belle Sebastian | Update Date: Jan 31, 2017 07:20 AM EST

Ronnie Raymond might be dead, but that hasn't stopped Robbie Amell from appearing several times on the first and second seasons of "The Flash". Now it looks like the original other half of Firestorm will be back yet again in "The Flash" Season 3. But is it possible that Ronnie will only appear as part of Barry Allen's lengthy dream sequence?

"The Flash" has had several tragic characters, but none more so than Ronnie Raymond. Robbie Amell's character was initially believed to be dead in the first season, but turned out to be very much alive and dealing with being Firestorm. After almost dying, Ronnie decided to marry his beloved Caitlin Snow, only to sacrifice himself to save Central City in the Season 1 finale. So will Ronnie get resurrected in "The Flash" Season 3? Amell offered a few details about Firestorm's comeback in the back half of the current season.

Robbie Amell recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Ronnie Raymond's return, teasing that his character "may or may not be alive." In addition to that, fans can expect more of Ronnie in "The Flash" Season 3, since Amell confirmed he has more than just one scene with Grant Gustin's Barry Allen and Danielle Panabaker's Caitlin Snow.

The details immediately had fans wondering whether Ronnie Raymond will be resurrected or if he will appear in a dream sequence involving Barry Allen. It has previously been reported that Eddie Thawne, the other casualty from the first season finale, will be back in "The Flash" Season 3 as well. There are speculations that both characters will appear to Barry, who is still struggling with his own guilt over their deaths.

There is no word yet on which episodes Robbie Amell will appear as Ronnie Raymond or whether he will be featured in the same scenes as Rick Cosnett's Eddie Thawne. "The Flash" Season 3 Episode 11 is titled "Dead or Alive" and will air on The CW on January 31.
