Ready For Valentine’s Day? This Is The Most Popular Time And Day To Have Sex!

Valentine's Day is just a few days away and couples everywhere are gearing up for some loving and romancing. Just in time for the love month, a British survey sought to find what the most popular time and day is for couples to have sex and the results are far from what anyone would except.

A total of 2,000 adults participated in the survey which gives insight into the sexual lives of British couples. According to the survey commissioned by Superdrug, the most popular time and day for British couples to have sex are at 9 am on Sunday. It's not surprising since people are more relaxed and have a lot of time on their hands on Sundays.

The weekends, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, dominate the top then most popular time and day for a couple to get down and dirty. Saturdays at 10:30 pm and 11:30 pm, Fridays at 10:30 pm, and Saturdays at 10:30 am round up the top five most popular time and day for British couples to have sex. The least popular time and day to have sex is on Mondays at 4:45 pm.

Around 60 percent of the couples in the survey report to not consuming alcohol before engaging in athletics between the sheets. With only 22 percent reported drinking alcohol before a night full of loving.

Most British couples engage in a romantic dinner before having sex. Other favorite activities before sex include watching TV together, talking intimately, out with friends, and going to a bar.

A previous survey conducted by IllicitEncounters.com with a thousand participants found that almost half of the participants' reason they are too busy that they schedule a late sex session with their partners. In addition, six out of ten couples schedule a weekend getaway just to have time for sex.

A 2014 survey commissioned by Lovehoney.com found that the respondents found the sexiest season to be summer (62 percent). Winter followed with 20 percent, Spring with 14 percent, and Autumn/Fall with 4 percent.
