'Overwatch' News & Update: Blizzard Releases Patch Notes For Bastion Changes
Fans of Blizzard's "Overwatch" have been waiting long for changes to arrive to one of their favorite characters, Bastion. Since the game was released in May last year, Bastion hasn't received any changes, but that changes today, as Blizzard releases patch notes for Bastion changes. The patch notes for changes in Bastion has been released for the "Overwatch" public test realm or PTR.
According to GameSpot, there are some things to look forward to as Blizzard releases patch notes for Bastion changes. For one, Bastion can now enter Sentry mode more quickly than before. Gamers can also notice that he has a larger magazine now. To be specific, the deploy time for Sentry has gone from 1.5 seconds to 1 second. Bastion's bullet spread has been increased by 50%, and it's always at maximum. Bastion's magazine size is now 300, compared to the previous 200.
As Blizzard releases patch notes for Bastion changes, "Overwatch" gamers will notice that Basion's headshot damage multiplier is now done, and he no longer deals critical damage as well. As for Recon, gamers can notice that the bullet spread has been decreased by 25%, while magazine size has increased to 25 from 20. Under the Tank configuration, Bastion no longer grants bonus armor, so fans have to look out for that as well.
"Overwatch" fans should also know that Bastion's self-repair can also now be used while mobile, as per Polygon. Bastion is no longer interrupted by taking damage, and is now bound to secondary fire. Gamers should also note that a new resource meter has been added that deplete while Self-repair is active and recharges when not in use.
As Blizzard releases patch notes for Bastion changes, "Overwatch" gamers are encouraged to take note that Bastion now takes 35% less damange while in Sentry or Tank configuration.
