It's set to be an exciting weekend for Ubisoft fans, as the "For Honor" open beta launching today will let gamers get their hands on the game. But exactly how does one participate in the open beta?  The open beta, launching today, begins at 6 a.m. PST or 9 a.m. EST or 2 p.m. GMT, depending on where you are.

It will run up until Sunday, February 12 at 2 p.m. PST, 5 p.m. EST, or 10 p.m. GMT again depending on your location. According to VG247, "For Honor" gamers who weren't able to participate in the closed beta last week will have to download the open beta on Xbox One, PC, or PlayStation 4.

"For Honor" players on PC should launch Uplay and open the list of Free Games and select the open beta listed there. For those on Steam, search for "For Honor"in the Store and click Play Now to begin downloading the open beta launching today. As for players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, you can head over to your respective stores and download the open beta ahead of its launch time. Note that you'll need at least 19GB worth of free space for the game files.

"For Honor" gamers who participated in the closed beta are in luck, as you'll only need to update to version 1.03, which is a 451 MB download. This will enable you to access the beta for "For Honor," which hits Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this February 14.

In other "For Honor" news, it seems that the Ubisoft hack and slash has an early release date for Turkey. According to NDTV, gamers in Turkey are already receiving copies of the game. Note, however, that the servers will be limited to the open beta only this weekend.
