One of the big questions the Dallas Cowboys is confronting this offseason is whether or not the Dallas-based American football team will trade up for Myles Garrett. It is said that he was in a playful mood more than a month ago while he pleaded to play for the team.

A video that was previously taken by ESPN photographer while Myles Garrett was interviewed at the College Football Awards Show on Dec. 8 last year is being released. According to ESPN, the 21-year old football defensive end for Texas A&M had a conversation with ESPN’s social media producer when he appeared at the College Football Hall of Fame based in Atlanta. He was asked if he would desire to join National Football League (NFL).

Will Myles Garrett play for Dallas Cowboys?

When Garrett was asked if he would like to join Dallas Cowboys, his answer to the ESPN social media manager was “100 percent supposed to be fun.” The recently released video has created a headline that showed him imploring to Dallas Cowboys’ owner and president, Jerry Jones to take him with the first overall pick.

However, presently in an interview, he said that it was more like a joke and should not have been taken seriously. He has also asked the audience to simply taking it as a joke. He already cleared it in the past by saying that he is an absolute fan and supporter of Dallas Cowboys. Since he grew up in Texas, his “declaration should come as no surprise,” as stated by Fox Sports. He further said that it’s the nature of everyone to love his hometown team. Even he is ready to play for Cleveland Browns and go higher if he is being made a part of the team.
