In a previous article on “Red Dead Redemption 2,” we discussed about the absolute possibilities of the changes that can take place in this much-anticipated video game. This article is aimed to mainly communicate to readers who have been waiting for any update on the game to be available on PC.

As we all know that “Red Dead Redemption 2” is already confirmed for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4), but there is a ray of hope for the PC owners. Some news outlets are claiming that Rockstar is presently researching on something to make it compatible for PC.

“Red Dead Redemption 2": maximum possibility to come to PC – Reasons

According to VideoGames Republic, Denuvo Software Solutions GmbH [provider of Denuvo, anti-tamper technology and digital rights management (DRM)] recently captured a technical problem on their website. They found that almost all the users in the website experienced various types of malfunctioning. This technical fault cracked the restricted part and as a result, users were able to access secret information from the website’s database. It is said that the database contained restricted data including details on “Red Dead Redemption 2” that may later come on PC.

Another reason is that Rockstar Studios is expected to use Denuvo in the future and almost every gaming enthusiast knows that Denuvo is only used on PC. On the other hand, the Rockstar has released one of its games "Grand Theft Auto" (GTA) on the PC after around two years from its original launch. Plenty of fans and video game aficionados are predicting that Rockstar Studios may adopt the similar strategy for their newly game “Red Dead Redemption 2”.

Other “Red Dead Redemption 2” release platforms

Recent news published by CinemaBlend revealed that apart from Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (PS4), “Red Dead Redemption 2” will get a support from Xbox Scorpio and PS4 Pro. However, Rockstar is yet to clarify whether or not they are going to support the midgen consoles with the application of special features.
