WWE 2017 Latest News & Update: Randy Orton Forfeiting Wrestlemania 33 Privilege, All Part Of The Script
Reigning WWE heavyweight champion Bray Wyatt gave John Cena and AJ Styles a chance to snag the title he won at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view but still managed to come out of it in one piece. This means that Wyatt will have to face protégé Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 33, or at least that is what is supposed to happen.
Following his conquest on Cena and Styles, Bray Wyatt was joined by Randy Orton in the ring. Rather than see a possible falling out between the two Wyatt Family members, the “Viper” ended up bowing to the “Eater of Worlds” and said that he will not challenge him for the WWE belt, WWE.com reported. With the development, SmackDown general manager announced a battle royal for the Feb. 21 edition of the blue brand which will likely include the main cast of the WWE Elimination Chamber.
Expected to compete for the chance to face Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania 33 are Cena, Styles, Dean Ambrose, Baron Corbin, The Miz and probably Luke Harper. The card has seen nothing more than a part of enticing the Orton vs. Wyatt storyline though most wonder how it will end up being a Wyatt vs. Wyatt affair.
Most of the speculated combatants do have storylines already, though seeing Harper win it all could make things interesting. If so, there is a chance that Harper ends up winning the battle royal and resuming his feud with Randy Orton. Wyatt will still be in the mix so a looming possibility is seeing a Triple Threat match involving all three Wyatt family members.
Wrestlemania 33 is still seven weeks away so there could be new twists happening along the way. All eyes will be on the battle royal which will likely dictate where the whole Orton-Wyatt storyline is headed, Wrestling Inc. reported.
