Kurt Angle’s possible return to the WWE has been mixed as of the moment. Regardless, he will be at Wrestlemania 33 for recognition since he is one of the upcoming inductees to the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame. There is no word yet on who would be inducting him but the former Olympian believes it will be down to four WWE stars – John Cena, Steve Austin, the Undertaker or Brock Lesnar.

From the mix, the plausible choice could be either Cena or Austin. Both are familiar fixtures for such events and are among the greatest the WWE has had to offer. Speaking of the WWE’s greatest of all time, Angle considers Cena one of them. Angle singles out how Cena has lasted in the WWE (13 years), a guy who he says will not throw fists and mix it up, Forbes.com reported.

Many would debate Kurt Angle’s take. Then again, that is the former WWE star’s take which is similar to anyone. Hence, it is all about respecting what one believes in rather than criticize and add heat. The former WWE champion is taking a breather at the moment with his next career step a big mystery. A return to the WWE has been suggested on more than one occasion.

In fact, Angle even hinted at one time he would be back in the WWE. Angle mentioned this during the Mark Madden radio show back in January but did not reveal an actual date. To back up his claim, Angle mentioned that he and Triple H discussed things before the celebrated WWE brand split.

Since then, nothing has developed though Angle is open to anything, Wrestling Inc. reported. With the WWE continuing its aggressive push to get old faces, a Kurt Angle return should not be surprising. The only thing sure right now is that he will be a WWE Hall of Famer, one of the greatest the WWE has had to offer.
