‘The Curse of Oak Island’ Season 5 Renewal: Inadequate Objects Discovered By Lagina Brothers, Chances For Series Renewal
The finale of “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 4 ended with a partial fulfillment of desires of the Lagina Brothers and on the reverse, the closing was done with a cliffhanger. The special two-hour program finale was expected to a give a notion whether or not the series will ever return with season 5.
Unfortunately, no such direct omen of its renewal or cancellation has been hinted by the showrunners and producers. Hence, the matter is still in dark to the 3.2 million viewers who tuned in to give a final watch to the penultimate episode of “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 4.
Why “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 4 Ended With A Cliffhanger?
The season 4 finale showed that the Lagina Brother found some big objects that could mean that the target was over closing all the roads to the making of “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5. However, we also agree with OppTrends, which believes that the same few objects are peanuts to the Lagina Brothers who know that the mystery surrounding Oak Island is still lying absolutely different.
So far, there is no confirmation given by the History Channel regarding the revival of its highly popular reality television series that premiered in Canada, three years back. For the readers who are unfamiliar with the show’s basic plot, “The Curse of Oak Island” is a story about two brothers, Rick Lagina and and Martin Lagina from Michigan who are giving their best in solving (or resurrecting) the 220 years old Oak Island mystery.
Lagina Brothers Not Interested In “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5?
Some reports are claiming that History Channel will never be disinterested in telecasting “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5. But according to the series creator Kevin Burns, the renewal and cancellation of this much-acclaimed series will mainly depend on the Lagina Brothers.
He also opined the team is having plenty of stories to tell their audience but the brothers every time become reluctant to appearing on television, other sources including Monster & Critics confirmed. If this is the case, does it mean the fans should stop looking forward the making of “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5?
