Mozilla has been an advocate for open standards, enabling modernization and leading the Web as a platform for all. Up to the present, there were hundreds of millions of people using Mozilla Firefox to have involvement and access to the internet, through the use of computers, mobile devices, and tablets.

Pocket, which was originally by Read It Later, Inc., is one of the world's best save-for-later service. There were more than 10 million active monthly registered users and is unified into famous apps, which include Twitter and Flipboard. Pocket also saves captivating videos, long articles - minus ads, and any annoying formatting and a lot more from the web for amusement.

Once it is saved to Pocket, the contents will be accessible through any devices such as tablets, phones, laptops, and even computers - either online or offline. Pocket is also available on different platforms such as Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, iOS, Windows, and Androids, as reported by TechCrunch.

Mozilla And Pocket Recently Inked A Deal

Mozilla revealed last Monday, Feb. 27, that they acquired the builder of the Pocket bookmarking tool, which is Read It Later, Inc. it was announced that Pocket users will be a part of Mozilla's product portfolio.

The Pocket core team and technology will approach Mozilla's broader context graph initiative. The deal shows Mozilla's first strategic acquisition and will help the company evolve it mobile existence, according to ZDnet. The two companies will help users find content depending on their respective styles.

Nate Weiner, CEO of Pocket, said in his announcement that the two companies are foreseeing closely working together to support the continuous growth of Pocket and to make new products the people will love and support of their shared visions.
