A recent report from People unveiled that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have decided to break up. The news has been confirmed by the ex-couple's representative.

Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom Relationship Is Over 

“Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time,” said a statement released by their representative.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom dated for more than a year. The ex-couple seemed to have been taking a break even before they confirmed their split. The report further claimed that they were seen at the annual Vanity Fair Oscars party last Sunday, after a few weeks of separated travels.

Although, they are on a break, the two did not hesitate to pose for pictures together during the event. However, an insider claimed that they did not interact very much during the event. The rep further added that “Katy did not spend much time with Orlando [Bloom,]” said the source. “They got together for a photo, but that was about it.”

The "Pirates Of The Caribbean" actor even posted a photo with Perry's puppy on Instagram recently. He captioned the photo with "a mighty heart."

Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom: Was It Their Busy Schedules?

The publication revealed that Perry had been busy promoting her new single entitled, "Chained to the Rhythm." She recently performed at the Grammys in Los Angeles and was followed by a performance in the United Kingdom for the BRIT Awards. Meanwhile, Bloom has just returned from his mission from UNICEF.

Official Charts even unveiled that Katy Perry's new album might not be released anytime soon. The singer stressed out that she would like to adopt a more "bite size" in releasing new songs. The report claimed that she might be collaborating with the Chainsmokers, Ariana Grande, Sia, and Chance the Rapper.

As of this date, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are both busy with their careers. However, she is yet to confirm the rumors of collaboration.
