Coachella 2017 News: Lady Gaga Joins Roster After Beyonce Backs Out

Coachella 2017 will be featuring Lady Gaga in replacement of Beyonce. It can be recalled that the pop star diva cancelled her performance due to her pregnancy.

The "Million Reasons" hit maker will headline Coachella 2017 for two consecutive Saturdays. The slot was first announced to be for Beyonce, but due to her pregnancy with twins, the singer decided not to push through.

Coachella 2017: Lady Gaga Is First Woman Headliner Since Bjork

Lady Gaga will peform in Apr. 15 and 22 at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California. According to Billboard, the organizers of Coachella 2017 are currently in the works for the stage production of the renowned pop singer. The organizers are Goldenvoice and AEG Live.

Lady Gaga has also confirmed her performance, as she tweeted the poster line-up of Coachella 2017. Lady Gaga will be the first woman to headline the music festival since Björk's performance in 2007.

The "Bad Romance" hitmaker will also perform along with Kendrick Lamar, Bon Iver, Future, Radiohead, Lusitce, XX, and Lorde. Coachella 2017 will run from Apr. 14-16 and Apr. 21-23, a report from Los Angeles Times said.

Beyonce, meanwhile, has announced that she will be performing at Coachella 2018. The "Formation" singer will likely be in her third trimester in Apr., which doctors advised might be critical for her health. Beyonce announced her pregnancy with twins earlier this Feb., via her Instagram account. The diva also debuted her growing baby bump in her latest performance at the Grammys.

Lady Gaga Sets Off To World Tour After Coachella 2017

After her Coachella 2017 performances, Lady Gaga will start with her Joanne World Tour. It will start on Aug. 1 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. Lady Gaga kicked off her 2017 with an amazing performance at the Super Bowl LI in Houston followed by a number with Metallica at the Grammys.
