'Battlefield 1' News & Update: Four News DLCs Arriving This Year, Beginning March 14
Since "Battlefield 1" was released to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC last October, gamers have been eager to get their hands on even more new content. The game received positive reviews from gamers and critics alike, and with that, players are looking forward to four new DLCs arriving this year, beginning March 14. Let's find out what exactly these DLCs will contain.
According to GameSpot, EA DICE has announced as much as four new DLCs arriving this year, all of which will be available to be purchased individually. Of course, gamers who have the $50 Premium Pass won't need to purchase anything else. This March 14, "They Shall Not Pass," which was previously announced by the studio, will finally be available for "Battlefield 1" gamers.
This new DLC will feature a couple of new war vehicles and four French maps to explore and battle it out in. According to Engadget, the next expansion for "Battlefield 1" comes in the form of "Name of the Tsar," which will require gamers to take over the Russian army and ride alongside the Hussars. This DLC will require gamers to engage in the Brusilov offensive and Albion assault.
Another upcoming DLC with no release date attached to it yet is "Turning Tides," which as the name implies, will feature mostly water battles. With it, gamers can expect a new destroyer and coastal class airship, and a mission to raid the Zeebrugge, as well as battle it out in the Gallipoli beaches. Lastly, "Battlefield 1" gamers can also look forward to the "Apocalypse" DLC, which sounds as intimidating as it is.
The upcoming "Battlefield 1" DLC, which also doesn't have a release date attached to it just yet, features "the most infamous battles of WW1," as well as more awesome tools and weapons for war. Gamers should note that those with the Premium Pass need not spend a dime, as all four expansions will come free to them. As per those without the Premium Pass, you'll have to wait for the announcement of the price tags for each.
