'Ghost Recon Wildlands' News & Update: Ubisoft Releases Launch Trailer; Day 1 Patch Detailed

The highly anticipated "Ghost Recon Wildlands" arrives today, and with it comes the Day 1 Patch, which Ubisoft has detailed in the game's official website. As Ubisoft releases the trailer for the open world tactical shooter video game, the studio is also anticipating the release of "Ghost Recon Wildlands" at 12 a.m. local time today, and 5 a.m. UTC on Steam.

According to Gamespot, Ubisoft launched the trailer, which tells gamers how to take down a drug cartel and showcases some very exhilarating chase scenes and shootouts. The game is set in Bolivia in the near future, where drug cartels are rampant and won't go down without a fight. The video also shows gamers how they can enjoy the multiplayer mode and team up to demolish the drug cartel.

The highly anticipated "Ghost Recon Wildlands" features the largest map Ubisoft has ever created for an open-world game. Speaking of records, the beta tests that the studio conducted for the game has drawn over 6.8 million gamers, setting a new record for Ubisoft. Meanwhile, the studio has also released details about the Day 1 Patch.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, "Ghost Recon Wildlands" will be about 40GB to 42GB, and the Day 1 Patch will be about 2.8GB. The Day 1 Patch includes two patches, Version 1.01 and Version 1.02. Version 1.01 features gameplay fixes and stability and network improvements, while Version 1.02 features engine stability improvements, network optimizations, gameplay adjustments and fixes, climate and general environment tweaks, and support for additional content.
