US Hospitals: 'We cannot support Trump Care in its current form' [VIDEO]
Republican President Donald Trump has been very vocal in touting the Affordable Care Act, also known as the Obamacare. Now that a new US health care is made available by the House republican US, conservatives and hospitals are already bashing and threatening to sink the new Republican health care bill.
Yesterday, President Donald Trump has been very busy on Twitter announcing how wonderful the new Healthcare Bill will be. Although it is still under review and negotiation, Trump easily concluded that Obamacare was ä complete and total disaster" and is "imploding fast", Boston Globe reports. Donald Trump further elaborated on the idea that health insurers selling policies across state lines will still be competitive enough and will promote competition with the current health care programs to be implemented in the US. This and more will be included in Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the new US health care rollout.
In other news, the American Hospital Association has already expressed their insights for the new US health care program under President Donald Trump's administration. The organization's president, Richard Pollack, appealed to the Congress to protect their patients and find ways to maintain US health care provisions for as many Americans as possible, Vox reports. Although they look forward to the new revisions that will be implemented to the current Obamacare program, they are firm that the current American Health Care Act is something they will have a hard time complying with.
However, House GOP leaders are already facing resistance against the newly unveiled bill that will supplant the Affordable Care Act. Queries on whether the new US health care bill is providing better deals for higher earning Americans over those who do not. Prominent GOP congressmen are also suggesting that if Americans will start needing more money to be able to afford the new US health care program, they might as well drop their iPhones and spend most of their earnings on health insurance.
The American Hospital Association is widely credited in their key role in the passage of the Affordable Care Act. The group threatens to withhold their support to the Republicans and will implement well-organized and well-funded oppositions against the latest US health care program to potentially eliminate the heath care bill or to alter its previous provisions.
