There is no doubt that many music lovers support Blake Shelton. The coach from "The Voice" is receiving an honorary award from Oklahoma Creativity Ambassadors Gala.
A recent report from KOCO Oklahoma City said that Blake Shelton will be receiving an honorary award from Oklahoma Creativity Ambassadors Gala on Apr. 3, 2017. "The Voice" coach will be honored as this year's ambassador at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City.
Blake Shelton Honored By Creative Oklahoma
“We are excited that Mr. Shelton is taking time out of his busy schedule - from tour dates to his work on "The Voice" - to be honored and to celebrate with us," the President of Creative Oklahoma, Susan McCalmont said. "We invite the public to join us as we recognize our state’s newest Creativity Ambassadors."
Creative Oklahoma is a non-profit organization, which aims to help the state's economy through promotion, development, and even through the celebration of Oklahoma’s creativity and innovation in commerce, culture, and education.
Aside from Shelton, there are other people from different careers who will also be honored. Gary Batton, the Chief of the Choctaw Nation; Harvey Pratt, a forensic artist; Chris Harrison, a television host - "The Bachelor;" Rick Bayless, a restaurateur, chef and author; Robert Hefner III, author, petroleum geologist, and philanthropist; Annie Funke, Broadway and television actress; and Sam Presti, general manager of the NBA Thunder.
Childhood Home Up For Sale
On the other hand, Wide Open Country unveiled that Blake Shelton is reportedly selling his childhood home for $250,000 located in Ada, Oklahoma. The home is a 3,140-square-foot, which has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Allegedly, "The Voice" coach, Blake Shelton often stays in his home in Lake Texoma. Reports even suggest that he will be married to Gwen Stefani in his country mansion.
