'The Vampire Diaries' Season 8 Star Nina Dobrev's Dating Life Revealed; Reportedly Engaged After Ian Somerhalder Split

Fans of Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev were saddened when the ex-couple confirmed their split. The split was followed by Dobrev's decision to quit "The Vampire Diaries," but now, they are together again for the season 8 finale.

Life & Style Weekly recently unveiled that the star of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, Nina Dobrev might be engaged now. Even after working with her ex-boyfriend, Somerhalder, the two confirm that they are just friends now.

NIna Dobrev has dated quite a few good men after being with Somerhalder for years. However, she still has not found the right man for her, as she is still single.

From Apr. 2015 to Feb. 2016, Dobrev dated actor, Austin Stowell. She admitted that Stowell's sense of humor attracted her. “A lot of what attracts me is a guy’s mind and humor and talent," Dobrev said. "I need to get to know all those things before I fall for someone. I’m not a one-night-stand kind of girl. I am a relationship girl.” she added.

Dobrev is currently single, however reports are making rounds that she is dating "Hidden Figures" actor, Glen Powell. An insider claimed that Powell is interested in Dobrev and that they have been seeing each other. However, Dobrev and Powell are yet to confirm the dating reports.

"TVD" Ending After Eight Seasons

Meanwhile, E! Online reported that "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will be coming to an end after eight successful seasons. Fortunately, the request of fans were granted, as Dobrev will come back as Elena Gilbert in the finale of the TV series.

"Wow saying good bye to 8 years...wow," Somerhalder shared. "Thank you all! Watching the Finale right now! Thank you #tvd fans around the world."
