'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' News: PlayStation And XBox One Receive Update 1.21, Featuring Fixes On Performance And Security Issues
There's one minor update for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" that arrived to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players yesterday, and it comes in the form of Update 1.21. It's a hefty update but it does feature fixes on performance and security issues that players have been experiencing.
What Can Players Look Forward To?
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, Update 1.21 for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is now available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players. They should note, however, that the update is about 1.36 GB to 1.61 GB on the Sony console, and 2.1 GB on the Microsoft console.
Meanwhile, Activision's Support site doesn't indicate what else is included in the update, except for fixes on general performance and security issues. However, they did write that there are new weapons and Specialist Themes in the Black Market up for grabs.
Blood Anvil Mission
Meanwhile, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players may also want to check out the Blood Anvil mission for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," as well as the new update for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered." The new update for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is now holding an ongoing event called "Shamrock and Awe" in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players who also enjoy "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" can take part of the ongoing St. Patrick's Day event for the game, which will end on Apr. 3. From now until that date, players can take advantage of the added Operation Lion Strike content, as well as the Operation Shamrock and Awe seasonal event content. The new multiplayer map to explore is called "Daybreak," which features lots of sunshine and fun.
Try Update 1.10
"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players who also enjoy "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" can also now download Update 1.10, which features several bug fixes. As for the "Shamrock and Awe" event, there will be several supply drops, themed collections, and a new character called Graves to check out.
