‘Rick and Morty’ Season 3 Release Date Still Delayed; Possible ‘Bojack Horseman’ Crossover
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 and "Bojack Horseman" could have a possible crossover episode. Get to know if fans will see a great mixed story of these two hilariously dark animated TV series.
According to TV Overmind, it could be possible that a crossover between "Rick and Morty" Season 3 and "Bojack Horseman" could happen, but highly unlikely. If past crossovers of other TV shows are any indication, it may just be a hype and be an actual disappointment.
Is A Crossover For "Rick and Morty" Season 3 And "Bojack Horseman" Going To Happen?
Although there have been similarities with some of the characters and the tone of the series itself, there are still hurdles to get past in terms of actually getting something started. One possible hurdle is that there might be clashing of ideas from both sides and it will just be chaos clashing with chaos. Another is that there might be a possibility that the episode to be produced from both shows might bring about a darker storyline, which could complicate the current plots in both shows.
Despite the possible complications of a crossover, there have been no talks of a crossover, but this did not stop fans from reaching out to producers and giving their own thoughts on how the crossover should be.
So When Is "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Really Coming?
The talks of the a Rick and Morty, plus Bojack meeting may have to halt since "Rick and Morty" has bigger things to worry about, like the release of the much anticipated season 3. According to Blasting News, fans are still waiting for the new season since season 2 finished last Oct. 2015.
Although it is known that they are working on season 3, no release date has been announced. The creators seem to enjoy kidding around with fans, at one point, joking that there will be no season 3. This did not please fans as much as it made the creators amused.
The creators also poked fun on other delayed releases, including the release of George R.R. Martin's "Winds of Winter" and the third season of "Fargo". This has definitely distracted fans from the long wait for "Rick and Morty" Season 3.
