In an interview, Len Amato, president of HBO films stated that the series will “vividly capture the most unique and impactful event in modern American politics,” as reported by Greek Hollywood Reporter.

Audiences may anticipate a number of TV and film works concerning the 2016 election and Trump’s surprise win to come out shortly, as well as a competing miniseries by the makers of “Zero Dark Thirty,” and an election focus for the new season of “American Horror Story.” The Tom Hanks series has been chosen for a second season and is all set to focus on Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office.
