"Beauty And The Beast" cast member Emma Watson signed a deal where she will earn, depending on how much the hit Disney movie perform in cinemas.

Last Friday (Mar.17), "Beauty And The Beast" reportedly earned a whopping $60 million, E! Online said. By Sunday (Mar. 19), it was predicted to have earned $140. Other "Beauty And The Beast" cast members - Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, and Josh Gad, have not been revealed their salaries yet for the film.
'Beauty And The Beast' Cast Emma Watson Questions Gender Wage Gap
Emma Watson's predicted earnings for the movie as the "Beauty And The Beast" cast member is seemingly low, compared to her earnings in "Harry Potter." In the hit movie series where she played Hermione, she reportedly earned $60 million.
According to Huffington Post, Emma Watson's earnings can be compared to that of Angelina Jolie when she did "Maleficent" in 2014. Angelina Jolie earned $20 million from the box office movie's $759 million earnings.
It can be recalled that Emma Watson previously questioned the gender wage gap that is happening not only in Hollywood films but in all workplace. "We are not supposed to talk about money because people will think you're 'difficult' or a 'diva,'" she told Esquire UK. "But there's a willingness now to be like, 'Fine, call me a diva, call me a feminazi, call me difficult, call me a First World Feminist, call me whatever you want, it's not going to stop be from trying to do the right thing.'"
