'Ant-Man 2' News & Update: Michael Pena Admits There's No Confirmation For Luis in 'Ant-Man And The Wasp' Just Yet

Back in 2015, Marvel film enthusiasts were once again treated to another blockbuster in the form of "Ant-Man." The breakout hit starred Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Michael Douglas.

Will Luis Return?

One of the more attention-grabbing supporting casts in the film was Michael Pena, who played the fast-talking Latino buddy of Paul Rudd's Scott Lang, Luis. The character instantly became a fan-favorite. A sequel has been unsurprisingly greenlit by the studio, but Michael Pena admits there's no confirmation for Luis in "Ant-Man 2" just yet.

Michael Pena recently sat down with Collider to talk about his new projects, including the comedy, "CHIPS." When asked about the developments of "Ant-Man 2," the actor said that he hasn't been tapped by production to return just yet. Fnas need not give up hope to see Luis return in "Ant-Man and The Wasp" just yet, as he reportedly is signed on for multiple films with Marvel. It's possible that production hasn't begun yet, which is why he hasn't been called back.

What To Expect From "Ant-Man 2"

As per Screenrant, filming for "Ant-Man 2" is still months away, and it should see the return of Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne A.K.A. The Wasp, and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. Recently, Movieweb reported that the (not-so) secret working title for "Ant-Man 2" is "Cherry Blue." These working titles are used when production films in locations. "Ant-Man 2," or rather, "Cherry Blue," is set to begin filming this June in Atlanta.

Of course, now that fans know that the working title of "Ant-Man 2" is "Cherry Blue," it's most likely that they will change it. Now that Michael Pena admitted there's no confirmation for Luis in "Ant-Man and the Wasp" just yet, do you think the character will return? Comment your thoughts on "Ant-Man 2" below.
