Just last Nov., Activision blessed players with the arrival of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" to both consoles and PC. Now, the studio has released the first ever DLC pack for the game. The Variety Map Pack may sound familiar, as it was released in 2008 for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare." This "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" DLC for PlayStation 4 now available features "rare" supply drops and a slew of interesting content.

DLC Includes Four Maps

As per Gamespot, the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" Variety Map Pack for PlayStation 4 now available includes four maps. These maps are Broadcast, Chinatown, Creek, and Killhouse. As with the game, players can expect that these maps are also remastered. But aside from maps to explore, the DLC features "rare" supply drops, and not just one, but 10 of them.

'Rare' Suppl Drops

According to VG247, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" should note that the "rare" supply drops in the Variety Map Pack are often unlocked through the game or by spending real money. The Variety Map Pack for PlayStation 4 now available for $15. As for Xbox One and PC players, you'll have to wait for when Activision announces a release date for the new content.

Meanwhile, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" can also enjoy the now-live in-game St. Patrick's Day event that launched last Friday (Mar. 17). It's called "Operation: Shamrock and Awe," and with it, players can enjoy collecting a new character and a new map to explore. The St. Patrick's Day event will run up to Apr. 3 at 12:01 AM PT / 3:02 AM ET.
