'Titanfall 2' News & Update: Respawn Releases 'Colony Reborn' Next Week Alongside Free Trial Weekend

Respawn Entertainment's first-person shooter, "Titanfall 2" is receiving an exciting new DLC next week. "Colony Reborn" will be free for players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, and it will come with a map that may already be familiar to some players. Now that Respawn is et to release "Colony Reborn" next week, they are also gearing up for a free trial weekend.

What To Expect from "Titanfall 2" DLC

According to Gamespot, the "Titanfall 2" DLC called "Colony Reborn" will feature a map that was previously featured in "Titanfall," called "Colony." But that's not all, as the DLC also features a the new weapon called R-101, which emerges from the original Titanfall with an ACOG scope. Lastly, "Titanfall 2" players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC can also expect a new execution titled "Curb Check."

What Else To Look Forward To?

As Respawn is set to release "Colony Reborn" on Mar. 30, players should also expect to receive new paid cosmetic content, featuring Titan skins, new camos, and more awesome stuff, as per Polygon. According to Respawn's "Titanfall" blog, players will be able to outfit their pilots, weapons, Titans, banners, and patches with new cosmetics.

Prime Titans will get the Northstar and Legion cosmetics, while players can also get five new designs and one new Warpaint per Titan as part of the Titan Art Nose Art. There will be 20 camos in the camo pack, and 20 banners and 20 patches in the Callsign pack.

As Respawn is set to release "Colony Reborn" on Mar. 30, they are also holding a free trial weekend beginning Mar. 30 to Apr. 3. Of course, the upcoming DLC will also include a patch that addresses several bug fixes, character balancing, and game improvements.
