Samira Wiley, 29, tied the knot with 34-year-old Lauren Morelli on Mar. 25, 2017. The couple, who met on the set of "Orange Is The New Black," have been together for four years. Wiley played the role of Poussey, while Morelli is part of the writing team.

Martha Stewart Weddings was the first outlet to share the wedding updates. The couple wanted to have a fun one, so they opted for a festive theme. They loved eating Funfetti so much that their wedding will not be complete without it.

Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli took a non-traditional route for the entire event.They sashayed their way down the aisle to the tune of Justin Bieber's "Baby" and Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It."

Wiley even tapped her parents as the officials of their nuptials. As for their wedding ensembles, they dressed in two Christian Siriano pieces.

The TV star wore an off-shoulder with a flowy skirt, while Morelli chose a caped jumpsuit and a caged bodice. The designer teased an update while working on the said bodice few weeks ago.

Palm Springs was a memorable venue for the newlyweds, People exclusively reported. It was the same place where their engagement took place after two years of dating.

Morelli said it was not an easy task for her. She felt that Wiley already knew about it until the latter cried in joy. The couple then celebrated the engagement during their Palm Springs vacation.

Wiley talked about her "carefree" part after their engagement. She added that Morelli took the responsibility as the planner. After the wedding, The "Orange Is The New Black" star shared her status as  #wifed on Instagram.

This is the first marriage for the "Handmaid's Tale" cast member. Lauren Morelli was in a relationship with her husband of two years, Steve Basilone. They got a divorce after Morelli learned that she is gay while writing for "Orange Is The New Black."

“Samira became my outlet, and through that process I fell in love with her,” Morelli said. “But I thought, This will be the one that got away. Being with her felt too good to be true.”
